Responsible Research’s Claire Veuthey speaks at the British High Commission’s event on ‘ENERGY EFFICIENCY: The way forward for Southeast Asia’ on February 11 at the Regent Hotel.



The British High Commissioner in Singapore invited a list of speakers to discuss Energy Efficiency opportunities in the Southeast Asian region. The event coincided with the launch of ReEx Capital Asia’s report on Energy Efficiency Opportunities in the region, a report sponsored by the British High Commission.
Amongst the speakers was Claire Veuthey from Responsible Research, presenting case studies of energy efficiency drawn from the Asian Sustainability Rating™, a benchmarking tool developed by Responsible Research. Claire identified three sector case studies and highlighted one leading company per sector, identifying drivers and innovative solutions in energy efficiency in the region. Other speakers included Amanda Brooks, Acting High Commissioner in Singapore, Frédéric Crampé from ReEx Capital Asia, Ruby Shang from the Clinton Climate Initiative, and Chiu Wen Tung from the Singaporean Economic Development Board. The presentations was followed by a panel discussion, which included John Pearson from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, and George Norris from the British Foreign Office.
