Head of Asia Pacific/ Research Director
To be based in Singapore. Must have 10+ years experience of building substantial qualitative and quantitative research capacity in an investment environment, preferably in Asia. Will be responsible for coordinating the research product.
Must be able to:
- Be a spokesperson for the Group at Conferences and Events
- Research, analyze and monitor ESG issues within Asian companies
- Produce sector studies on assigned sectors and related RI issue
- Plan, arrange, carry out and report on engagement with companies;
- Assist in screening and other supporting work for the ethical funds;
- Provide information for marketing of RI and ethical products and client presentations;
As well as having a real passion and enthusiasm for the SRI/ESG sector, successful candidates should have:
- Experience in Responsible Investment research and engagement
- Sound understanding of financial markets and a business environment
- Ability to develop and manage projects and work loads in a resource constrained environment
- Database management and quant skills
- Excellent research and written communication skills
Sales and Marketing Manager (Asia)
This role would suit someone who is highly motivated, sales oriented and prefers a very flexible role. The candidate should have a deep understanding of institutional asset management and investment products, perhaps having recently “retired” from the investment banking world, looking for greener pastures. Knowledge of socially responsible investment or CSR would also be a plus.
We offer a generous commission-based package for the right candidate who wishes to enjoy a high earning potential for results and be part of the growing movement of SRI and ethical investment. Candidates should have excellent presentation, written and spoken English and have mature telephone and e-mail communication skills and be self-motivated and independent. A level of gravitas is a must.
Institutional Responsible Investment Sales - Part Time (UK, US, Japan)
Preferably with experience of selling institutional equity research to pension funds and hedge funds. This position would suit someone with an interest in socially responsible investment and sustainable business models who has worked at a senior level in banking or investment consultancy for 10+ years.
Candidates should have excellent telephone and e-mail communication skills and be self-motivated and independent. An academic background is a plus, as is working experience in environmental sciences, human rights or corporate governance. Proficiency in the main European languages would also be useful.

Responsible Investment Analyst (Greater China)
To be eventually based in HK, Shanghai or Beijing after a period in Singapore.
Must be able to read, write and speak Mandarin (and preferably Cantonese).
Preferably having a masters degree, financial analytical background and recent experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Governance and Ethical Business Practices
- Social and Human Rights Issues
- General Environmental Issues in Asia
- Climate Change, Carbon and Alternative Energy
Responsible Investment Analysts (Asia)
Permanent or 3-4 month contract.
Graduates with financial experience and a passion for RI to conduct ESG research on Asian corporates and sectors. Must have some financial analytical experience plus two out of the following:
- Experience in Asia
- Sectoral/Industry experience
- ESG/SRI research experience
Korean Speaking Intern (Singapore)
We have an opening for a Korean speaking intern to assist on screening South Korean corporates. The candidate should have financial analytical experience and be looking to enter the field of Responsible Investment or public policy.
Chinese Speaking Intern (Singapore)
We have an opening for a Chinese speaking intern to assist on screening Chinese, HK and Taiwanese corporates. The candidate should have financial analytical experience and be looking to enter the field of Responsible Investment or public policy.
Vietnamese Speaking Intern (Singapore)
We have an opening for a Vietnamese speaking intern to assist on screening Vietnamese corporates. The candidate should have financial analytical experience and be looking to enter the field of Responsible Investment or public policy.
Thai Speaking Intern (Singapore)
We have an opening for a Thai speaking intern to assist on screening Thai corporates. The candidate should have financial analytical experience and be looking to enter the field of Responsible Investment or public policy.
General Interns
To be based in Asia. Graduates or MBA students with some financial experience and a passion for Responsible Investment to assist the RI analysts in their ESG research on Asian corporates or work on specific sector projects. We are specifically interested in MBA or Masters graduates who have a particular sector focus e.g. forestry, shipping or telecoms and who wish to conduct ESG research as part of an MBA or post-graduate work.
